At lakes such as Lake Windermere, Ullswater, and Derwentwater, the stillness of the morning air will provide perfect mirror reflections of the surrounding scenery and sunrise colours.

The Lake District contains several impressive mountains and peaks, including Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, and Skiddaw.
